A senior network engineer reaches out to us to begin a search for a new position.  His company has recently been purchased, and he believes the new merger will ultimately leave his position redundant.  He wants to get out in front of this expected change before his position is eliminated.

We meet in-person to discuss the situation.  This is critical in learning as much as possible about the candidate in order to determine what the next career move should look like.  Finding the next position is important, but taking the time to make sure it is the right fit is vital to it being a long-term success for both the company and candidate.  In order to do this, we help establish a game plan that includes a proper sense of urgency in the process, while helping the candidate avoid panic.
